Effort to increase concerned citizen involvement and expand the AmberAlert Portal network reach, results in partnership to offer free identity theft protection for children

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - November 20, 2006 - AmberAlert.com, the Amber Alert Portal known for its successful recovery of dozens of abducted children, is joining forces with LifeLock, the nation's leader in identity theft prevention, to further efforts in preventing the exploitation of children and increase the number of American's on the Amber Alert Network. As a result of this partnership, any adult joining the wireless notification network operated by AmberAlert.com can enroll with LifeLock for a 10% annual discount and their children (15 and under) will be enrolled at no additional cost.

With child abduction and identity theft numbers on the rise AmberAlert.com and LifeLock are hoping this partnership will help raise awareness and provide a means for private citizens to take action in the fight to protect our country's most important asset - our children.
